Two Rocks Primary School
Two Rocks Primary School reached out to us a few months ago and were chasing a unique visual solution to showcase their values and school factions. The brief was vibrant colours and bold designs to allow their values to stand out in a playful form. Using the faction animals as inspiration, to pull the whole outdoor space together and compliment the school. We were honoured to be apart of this impressive, handcrafted Totem Pole project. From concept to completion, the four totem poles create the ultimate visual impact.
Each Totem Pole references to the four factions – Dolphins, Stingray, Sharks and Swordfish. Also references and showcasing the schools values UV printed and laminated onto a graphic wrap. Standing 2m out of the ground, the beautifully handcrafted Totem Poles respond to the buildings materiality and form.
The level of detail our talented team put into this project was superb. Each faction icon was handcrafted by shaping and carving PVC foam with a resin finish coating. They were carved to wrap around the top of the Totem Pole. All edges were rounded and polished to ensure their was no sharp elements. To finish the overall look of the faction animals, our talented artist painted air brush, bringing the animals to life in a bold and playful theme.
“I just wanted to say a massive ‘thank you’ for the outstanding product you have provided for our school. What started as a very brief idea came to life and has certainly added the WOW factor to our school grounds. We have had so many compliments from both students, parents and teachers alike – a real statement has been made!
I also want to thank you for the professionalism you have demonstrated throughout the whole project! I have felt involved and informed every step of the entire process, and throughout, everyone has been so approachable and accommodating.
It has been a real pleasure working with Gary; the voice and face of The Factory. His passion and enthusiasm is infectious! We will all miss talking with Gary in our office!
Once again, thank you for bringing our idea to life and I hope to work with you all again in the not too distant future.“
