In a medical environment like the QEII Medical Centre Campus in Perth, the creation of a peaceful nature retreat is a welcome sight. Officially named Waalbiirniny Waabiny Boodja, the newly established Green Space project near the Perth Children’s Hospital is not just a place of respite but a sanctuary for staff, patients, and visitors alike.

Walyalup Civic Building Interpretive Signage

In collaboration with Creative Spaces, this carefully designed and fabricated welcome sign is built up by four layers, reflecting the history of Whadjuk Noongar people and their contribution to the lands.

The largest medical Centre in the southern hemisphere and globally recognised in health care, research, and education. It was an honour to be a part of this Noongar 6 seasons project.
