A Multi-Location Signage Project
This project was not just about replacing old signs; it was about breathing new life into these spaces, making them more vibrant and engaging for everyone who visits. The Mission
Our client, Aqua Leisure Techniques, approached us with a clear mission: to refresh their centres with new, eye-catching signage. Many of their locations had signage that had seen better days, and they were eager to update these to reflect a more modern and welcoming image. The goal was to create signage, that not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of each location but also improved functionality and brand consistency across all sites.
What We Did: Crafting Customised Signage Solutions
To kick off the signage project, we conducted meetings to visit each of the five locations. These site visits were crucial, as they allowed us to meticulously assess the existing signage and understand the unique needs of each site. Armed with this information, we crafted customised signage solutions tailored to each location’s specific requirements.
The signage project was broken down into several signage solutions, including:
Entrance Glazing and Internal Office Glazing:
We started by enhancing the entrance and internal office areas with sleek glazing solutions. These not only improved the visual appeal but also added a touch of sophistication to the spaces.
Glass Fencing Signage:
For areas with glass fencing, we designed signage that seamlessly integrated with the existing structures, ensuring that the signs were both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Fascia Signs:
Using aluminum composite panels (ACP), we crafted fascia signs cut into unique shapes, adding a dynamic element to the building exteriors. These signs were designed to withstand the elements while maintaining their vibrant appearance.
Safety Signage Around Pool Areas:
Safety is paramount, especially around pool areas. We installed clear and visible safety signage to ensure the well-being of all visitors, adhering to the highest safety standards.
High-Quality Digital Printed Wall Graphics:
To make a bold statement, we adorned the external walls with high-quality digital printed graphics. These graphics not only captured attention but also conveyed the brand’s message effectively.
Pylon Signage:
Standing tall and proud, our pylon signage served as a landmark for each location, guiding visitors and enhancing brand visibility from afar.
Internal Wall Graphics:
Inside some of the centres, we used wall graphics to create engaging and informative spaces, ensuring that every corner of the facility reflected the brand’s identity.
Overcoming Challenges: Navigating Diverse Needs and Tight Deadlines
Every project comes with its own set of challenges, and this was no exception. Each of the five sites, had completely different needs, requiring us to be flexible and innovative in our approach. Some locations needed more extensive work than others, so we provided both cost-effective and long-term signage solutions tailored to each site’s requirements.
One of the biggest challenges was managing the diverse needs of each site while adhering to tight deadlines. The installation began on November 27, 2024, and we were determined to complete all sites before the Christmas closure. This required meticulous planning and coordination among our sales, design, production, and installation teams. We worked tirelessly to ensure that every sign met both our standards and those of our client.
Quality assurance checks and coordination were key to our success. Our teams collaborated closely, conducting thorough QA checks at every stage to ensure that the final product was nothing short of perfect. Despite the tight timelines and varied site requirements, we delivered on our promise, completing the project on time and to the highest standards.
