Workplace Wayfinding and Signage
Navigating The Future: Workplace Signage Solutions
Effective workplace signage plays a crucial role in guiding employees and visitors alike. We collaborated with Shape, on an impressive 10-floor workplace signage project. Featuring custom and creative Wayfinding and Signage solutions for ANZ in Sydney. In this blog post, we will explore the various innovative Signage and Wayfinding solutions implemented, highlighting the commitment to both functionality and aesthetics.
Lift Lobby Directory Signs:
One of the standout features of the project was the lift lobby directory signs. We utilised acrylic panels, laser cut to perfection with polished edges. This not only provided a sleek and modern look but also ensured clear visibility of the directory information. The use of acrylic panels added a touch of sophistication to the overall design, making a lasting impression on anyone entering the space.
Level ID Signs:
The commitment to sustainable design was evident in the choice of materials for the Wayfinding Signage. We employed timber pegboard and layered acrylic, emphasising a sustainable mindset. This unique combination not only created a visually appealing contrast but also showcased the company’s commitment to environmental consciousness. Additionally, the inclusion of biophilic design directory panels added a touch of nature and tranquility to the workplace, enhancing the overall user experience.
Level ID Signs:
To enhance the identification of different floors, the design employed a range of techniques for the level ID signs. Combining 3D brass lettering, acrylic discs, and panels. This multi-dimensional approach added depth and visual interest to the signage, making it easy for individuals to locate their desired floor. The combination of materials and textures created a unique and visually appealing wayfinding system.
Room Signage:
We took room signage to the next level by employing an innovative layering technique using acrylic. By layering acrylic, they formed a circular and distinctive Wayfinding system. This approach not only provided clear room identification but also added a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall design. The circular shape of the signage created a visually pleasing and cohesive look throughout the workplace.
Zone Area Signage:
To highlight different functional areas, we utilised 3D lettering for the cafe, tech bar, and various function areas. This approach not only made the signage stand out but also added a sense of depth and dimension to the overall design. The use of 3D lettering created a visually striking and memorable experience for employees and visitors, ensuring they could easily navigate through different zones within the workplace.
Additional Signage Solutions:
We incorporated fluted glazing films, dotted glazing films, echo panel art wall graphics, and toilet blade signage throughout the workplace. These additional signage solutions added both functionality and aesthetic appeal to the overall design. The use of glazing films and echo panel art wall graphics created visually engaging elements, while the toilet blade signage ensured clear identification of restroom facilities.
